Summer is not only a time for relaxation, but also a wonderful opportunity for self-development and honing one’s skills.
This was successfully demonstrated by Varvara Hubchenko, an 11th-grade student at the Sumy Regional Academic Lyceum named after Dmytro Yevdokimov, who took an active part in the "Sumy Summer Camp 2026."
A graduation ceremony was held recently, at which Varvara received a certificate confirming her successful completion of an online English language course.
"For a lyceum graduate, such a course is not just additional knowledge, but a powerful boost ahead of admission to her dream higher education institution," noted Larysa Ivanivna Klochko, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign and Slavic Philology, PhD in Linguistics, and Associate Professor.
Also in attendance to congratulate the graduate were Maryna Mykolayivna Chykalova, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages (PhD in Pedagogy, Associate Professor); Hanna Ihorivna Podosinnikova, Head of the Department of English Philology and Linguadidactics (PhD in Pedagogy, Associate Professor); and the project coordinator, Inna Leonidivna Humenyuk (PhD in Linguistics, Associate Professor).
We warmly congratulate Varvara Gubchenko on receiving the certificate! We are proud of your determination, your desire to develop, and your drive to reach new heights. We hope that the knowledge you have gained will open the doors to many new opportunities!
