The participants at the Sumy Summer Language Camp are continuing to hone their English and soft skills. This week, the high schoolstudents discussed some extremely topical and useful issues with Gabi, a guest from the US.
On Tuesday (2 June), the campers sought answers to the question: ‘What personal qualities define a leader?’ The students shared their thoughts on unique leadership styles and discussed prominent leaders after watching topical videos.
The next meeting (4 June) was devoted to a particularly important topic – ‘How to overcome stress?’ The lyceum students were keen to find out where the line lies between healthy relaxation and harmful escapism. The students enthusiastically discussed practical life hacks to help them calm down and stay composed during a test or exam.
During the sessions, the participants had a wonderful opportunity to practise new words and phrases and freely express their opinions in a foreign language.
