As part of Academic Integrity Week, held from September 14 to 18, 2026, a series of thematic activities with first- and fourth-year students from various academic groups (groups 441, 541, 543, 443, 413, 046, and 016) was conducted by Cand.of Pedag. Scie., Ass. Prof., and Head of the Department of Foreign Languages Maryna Chykalova.
During the meetings, students discussed the fundamental principles of academic integrity, responsible attitudes towards learning and research, academic plagiarism, proper citation, and the responsible use of information resources.
Special attention was paid to the responsible use of modern digital tools and artificial intelligence technologies in educational and research activities.
The students actively participated in discussions, practical case analysis, interactive tasks, and the exchange of ideas on how the principles of academic integrity can be applied in everyday academic life.
The activities provided an opportunity not only to reinforce students’ knowledge of academic integrity, but also to develop a conscious attitude towards personal responsibility, honesty, and ethical behaviour in educational and professional environments.
Academic Integrity Week demonstrated that fostering a culture of academic honesty is an integral part of preparing future professionals.
